Istanbul meeting was a huge success: 520 attended
Our 58th IREPAS meeting held at the Swissotel The Bosphorous in Istanbul, from 6th to 8th of April 2008, along with the SteelOrbis Spring 2008 Conference was a huge success. 58th IREPAS meeting will be in Istanbul
IREPAS chairman Mr Ugur Dalbeler has announced that our 58th meeting will be held in Istanbul most probably in April 2008, along with SteelOrbis Spring’08 Conference. There will also be an exhibition of steel sculptures organized by Fundaçion Villacero, taking place in conjunction with our next meeting. Future is difficult to predict
During the 49th Irepas meeting traders have stated that future is difficult to predict. However, a stable environment is expected where in one hand prices of HBI, DRI, scrap, coke are showing a rising trend but on the other hand customers are reluctant to accept price increases on products. Despite difficulties in the market, traders are having the understanding that an increase in international prices is required. Read More
49th Meeting was held in Istanbul
One of the highest participations is reached in the 49th Meeting in Istanbul. 50 delegates representing 27 producers from 15 countries and 90 traders from 18 countries met in Istanbul on 12th and 13th of October 2003. Read More
