EU to impose new quota on imports
According to media sources, the European Commission has sent a notification to the World Trade Organization, stating that the EU will impose import quotas on certain steel products, including rebar and wire rod, for a period of 150 days starting from February 2, 2019.. Ukraine starts antidumping investigation on certain steel bar imports from Moldova and Belarus
The Ukrainian Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade has announced that Ukraine’s Ministry of Economic Development and Trade has started an antidumping duty investigation on certain carbon and alloy steel bar imports from Moldova and Belarus. Ukraine approves temporary rise in scrap export duty
