Provisional antidumping duty imposed on HFP rebar imports from China to the EU
The European Commission has announced that it has decided to impose provisional antidumping duty on high fatigue performance (HFP) rebar imports from China for a period of six months.
The investigation was launched on April 30, 2015 as a result of an application by EUROFER, alleging that imports of HFP rebar from China have increased in absolute terms and in terms of market share. The investigation covers the period from April 1, 2014 to March 31, 2015.
The preliminary duty rates stand at 9.2 percent and 13 percent.
