Mexico extends CVD on Ukrainian wire rod imports for five more years
Mexico’s economy secretariat, SE, has extended existing definite countervailing duties (CVD) already applied to the imports of non-alloyed wire rod from Ukraine, it said on Friday. According to SE, it found sufficient elements to determine that eliminating existing CVD over the imports of the product from Ukraine would result in the “repetition” of what it labeled as “unfair practices.” SE said the CVD was extended for five more years counting from September 19, 2015, and should remain at a range of 30.52-41 percent.
The products subject to the CVD follow under the following HTS codes 7213.91.01, 7213.91.02, 7213.99.01 and 7213.99.99.
