Australia initiates antidumping review on rebar imports from China
Australia’s Antidumping Commission has announced that it has initiated a review regarding the antidumping duty on imports of certain reinforcing bar from China to examine whether the variable factors relevant to the taking of the antidumping measures have changed.
The review launched upon the application lodged by Australia-based Liberty OneSteel Pty Ltd covers the period between April 1, 2017 and March 31, 2018 and covers all exporters of the goods exported to Australia from China.
The antidumping duties were originally imposed in April 12, 2016 and range between 15.2 percent and 30 percent. The products subject to antidumping review currently fall under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7214.20.00, 7228.30.90, 7213.10.00, 7227.90.10, 7227.90.90, 7228.30.10 and 7228.60.10.
