The conjunction of SteelOrbis’ and IREPAS’ bi-annual conferences continued with the SteelOrbis Fall’ 06 Conference & 55th IREPAS Meeting in Prague, September 17 – 19, 2006. A total of 200 professionals from 125 companies connected with the steel industry came together in Prague for the occasion.

Starting with the 55th IREPAS Meeting, new changes were made in order to increase the efficiency of the event. The duration was extended to three days.

Separate Committee Meetings under the headings of Raw Materials, Producers and Traders were held. All these changes are the result of feedback gained from questionnaires filled out by participants at previous meetings. The programme commenced with the Welcome Cocktail on Sunday evening, which provided the perfect opportunity for networking. The conference presentations began after the Committee Meetings on Monday morning and continued all day Monday and on Tuesday until noon.
